Epoxy Resin Challah Boards

The Boards

There is something special about live-edge wood embedded in epoxy resin. I look for interesting cuts from locally sourced woods.

The epoxy resin dyes contain mica to give the colors a wonderful sheen.

While the finish is hard, it isn't knife-proof. So I add an acrylic sheet on the bottom to use for cutting. The brass feet will also help protect your table.

If you don't see a board for sale that meets your needs, order "Board #0."

We'll connect so I can create a custom board that is exactly what you're looking for!

Some customers like to have the acrylic cutting surface on the back of the board, others want it on top. Your choice.

Since we make challah boards our default engraving is of course
המוציא לחם מן הארץ

(Hamotzi lechem min ha'aretz)

...bringing forth bread from the earth.

But we can engrave any inscription you would like.

In addition, we can engrave the backside of the board too, such as the names of the bride and groom for a wedding gift, or your family name.

Just let me know.
